Great shorts!
These shorts are a better version of the Kore Shorts for a few reasons:
- zippered back pocket for holding phone while running
-stash pocket in waist band for small item
They aren’t as good as the Kore short for taller guys because:
- they are much shorter which can lead to chafing while running
I refuse to remove a star because my height (6’2”) and my size (xl) don’t work well with these while running. They are great shorts and I’ll use them outside / boat/ beach etc just not for running. Again, that has to do with my height and nothing else!
On a side note, the Kore and Trail short are both amazing for the pool. They dry quick and look good!

Poorly designed pockets
The current version of these Trail Shorts that I have purchased have poorly designed pockets. Any weighted items fall below shorts, exposing the pocket mesh

Awesome shorts
Great material, super soft and comfy yet stitched very well and supportive. I’m a bigger guy, 6’3” 240lbs and these still fit perfect mobility and shape, not too tight or baggy. They’re great for working out or you could use them to dress up a beach day.

New Favorites
Bought these for my athletic teenage son. He says they’re his new favorite shorts- they’re not too short (he’s 5’ 8”) and they’re comfortable because they’re lightweight. He likes that the lining is nearly the same length as the shorts; in other shorts if there’s a brief-style lining he cuts them out. The material is a great quality, not scratchy or cheap-feeling. He actually likes that the front pockets are deep so that items don’t fall out. Will be buying more colors!
