Ripstop Shorts

These would get five stars if they didn't run SO small. I could button them but they are pretty tight and quite short since the fabric doesn't have much give. I prefer a looser fit in the legs. Unfortunately the next largest size is out of stock, otherwise I would exchange instead of return. Keep the larger sizes in stock, Nordstrom.

These are well made shorts. Fabric is sturdy. I didn't seem to notice a whole lot of stretch. I was surprised how I couldn't really even button the waist. I ordered a medium, which I wear in all bottoms that are sized S,M,L. I don't have any shorts or bottoms in a size large but will exchange for a large to see if the fit is better. I'm 5'4" and around 135lbs give or take on any day. I wouldn't bother but they are cute and am hoping the next size up will be cute and fit better.

These shorts are really cute. I unfortunately ordered them in my regular size and they are suuuuuuper tight. Can't even get them buttoned. Not even close. The fabric doesn't have much give. The sizing only goes up to XL, which in my opinion is more like a small-ish large or even a medium.

There are a lot of negative reviews, but I liked the shorts. I bought a small, and I'm 5'3" and 125lbs on a good day. I thought they fit well but I don't like my shorts baggy. The button is a little difficult but no big deal. I like all the zip pockets for storing your license or money. I plan to wear these when out walking or doing something active with my kids. They would also be great at an amusement park with water rides as the fabric would dry more easily than cotton or denim.

Have another pair by same brand so was really hoping these would be as amazing. I was disappointed in the material. Felt really stiff and not sure if washing would help much. I think I will keep for the pattern as well as the available pockets.
