Restore Organic Cotton Blend Zip Hoodie

I purchased the pale grey in a size medium. I am 5’8”, 148lbs, athletic curvy, long torso. I like my sweatshirts roomy, this one definitely runs large. I could have gotten away with a small here because there is a slight poof in the stomach area where the pockets are. Not a big deal. This hoodie covers the bum which is a plus. My only complaint is that the hood is double layered (which is usually fine), but this material is heavy so the hoodie pulls back and up toward the neck. So I am constantly tugging the front down. Other than that is great, awesome quality-did not really shrink at all. I washed on cold dried on low.

I tried this on at the store and I know it’s a bit expensive for a hoodie but the quality of the garment won me over. It’s an oversized fit so make sure to size down. The sizing on here is incorrect as I’m normally a medium/large (D cup) and the small was TOO oversized on me. But if that’s what you’re looking for, go down just one size; however, if you’re looking for a subtle oversized fit with the length still covering your butt, two sizes down is the way to go. I like how it envelops me but I’m not looking dragged down by it.

I rarely buy hoodies bc they’re too short and/or fitted. Being petite & busty…not ideal. I pondered this hoodie for weeks and finally splurged on it to see what it’s about. Just received it. OMG it’s everything I wanted but could never find. It’s long and covers the booty. Not fitted at all. I swore I ordered an XL but guess not…the L is more than perfect for me. This is oversized by design and I prefer oversized items like this. I wish I’d ordered an XL but the L is fine. It’s not clingy but super relaxed & cozy. Thick & soft. I’m not crazy about the “black heather,” it’s like a faded black thats been washed several times. Wish there were other colors available, like black, white, etc. May order the other color available but not sure. I do love this hoodie tho. If you can afford it it’s definitely worth the splurge. If you don’t like oversized then size down. I’m a M but intentionally buy XL due to my own preferences; a M in this won’t work for me due to my chest so take that into consideration.

This is a nice hoodie but the fit just didn't work on me, and I found the quality not quite at the level of other Vuori products I've tried. The pale heather grey color is beautiful, and the fabric is nice – not as soft as I was expecting but a good weight. However the quality of the fabric didn't seem as special to me as their other blends, and the weight of the fabric and the zipper made it bunch/pull open weirdly on me when it's unzipped, and show the pockets/lining in a way I found unflattering. I went with the recommendation to size down and chose an XS instead of my usual S (5'6," 130, slender build). While it was definitely right in terms of volume, it hit me at a weird spot, not fully covering my rear (but I have a long torso so for others it probably isn't an issue). I would have liked it to fall just underneath but I think sizing up I would've just drowned, because the weight of the fabric it doesn't drape very much, so if you're more slender or petite it can overwhelm you instead of just looking cute and relaxed. I definitely wanted an oversize fit, this just isn't the right fit for me.

Why is it that we have to pay so much for basics to look good; black pencil skirt, black sweatshirt, white button down… This is a solid, nice looking, comfy piece. There should be many plain black sweatshirts to pick from. Vuori does it again by just making staples BETTER and flattering. I’ll wear this silly long sweatshirt a lot and not look dumpy. Now for the black dress.
