Clean Elevation High Waist Bike Shorts

I was very excited to try the Vuori biker shorts since I love the Daily Leggings so much. The material of the Clean Elevation High Waist Bike Shorty is so amazingly soft and comfortable. This is the best feature of the shorts. I also love the thicker waistband that is not too tight, and quite comfortable. I wish there were a mid-rise option though, as it's about 1.5 inches too high for my preference especially being petite. The compression is comfortable in the leg and not too tight at all, and is comfortable. The core problem is the compression in the girdle area. There is something not right about the design because when I work out in an exercise class or when running and any kind of movement raising my legs (like stepping, mountain climbers, or even jumping jacks), the shorts ride up along the front and kind of the hip flexor area (I don't want to write in specifics here) and are very uncomfortable all over. It is really disappointing because otherwise, the biker shorts are fantastic. The soft comfy fabric is amazing. The camo print and the raspberry color are awesome. But the compression and riding up where you don't want it to is a major problem. I'm athletic and frustrated these don't fit better. I tried going down a size (from Small to XS) and XS is too much compression. I wish Vuori would take the exact pattern for the Daily Leggings and simply turn them into biker shorts. Maybe these will fit others and again they are super cute, but move around in them before you purchase.
