Delightful
Thanks to Nordstrom's anniversary sale I was able to buy numerous candles and I hit the jackpot with the Votivo Red Currant, which is my favorite of the Votivo collection. The scent is complex and mildly spicy, never sickly sweet or headache inducing as some of the other scents such as the heavy florals of Voluspa or Votivo's Smoke In the Water. The peppery tartness of this fragrance is wonderful in every room in my home and the burn time is generous. The bonus at the end is that I am left with some great glassware due to the candles being soy based as I am able to clean out all the wax very easily. A+ all the way

No throw
I really wanted to love this Red Currant candle. The throw is quite disappointing. I've purchased Dyptique mini candles that have amazing throw and I can smell them on my second floor. I burned this Red Currant candle and could barely smell it on my first floor. It's a small size but I could barely smell it standing right next to it.

'Scent'sational
I was given a Red Currant Votivo candle as a gift almost 15 years ago and it is hands down the best brand of candle I have ever used. I am devoted to the Votivo brand and whenever I see them online or in a store I buy them immediately. Although Red Currant is my absolute favorite fragrance I have bought all of the other fragrances and they are sensational.

Teak is the Tops!
I have loved this fragrance for quite a few years and am so glad Votivo continues to make this fragrance. Although I am most adamantly of the feminine gender I appreciate this masculine aroma as it is one of my all time favorites. (No frilly girlie-girl for me)

Votivo Red Currant
Votivo Red Currant is my absolute favorite home fragrance. It has been my first choice in well over 15 years. My friends and family tell me that when they smell this candle, it always makes th think of my home. It makes a great host gift. I always carry it when I travel. It makes hotel stays so much nicer.
The fragrance is lush, rich, slightly exotic, and perfect year round. If I could only have one candle fragrance the rest of my life, hands down it is Votivo Red Currant.

Best Candles!
I have been buying Votivo candles for over 10 years. I love the red currant one, particularly for winter holidays. Teak and deep clover are also my favorites. The scent from these candles is subtle and not overly sweet. They burn for a very long time. I was amazed to find these on sale at Nordstrom's as Votivo rarely if ever goes on sale anywhere!
