worn for 6 hours walking in house, now peeling
I didn’t mind the blisters that were forming the first day I wore this, but after 6 hours of walking and trying to break it in a carpeted floor indoors, I noticed that the bottom edges of the sole began to peel off a thin layer. I was shocked. Super disappointed. I want to return because doc martens should be more durable than this.

My new summer go to shoes!
I LOVE THESE SHOES! At 5 feet tall, I'm already a big fan of the platform Docs so when I saw the sandals I knew I had to have them. I'm normally a size 7 in most shoes so I ordered a 7 even though Docs have a tendency to run big on me. These fit perfectly. They are very comfortable and the purple is such a great pop of color with any outfit. I will be living in these shoes this spring/summer.

Run big and wide.
If you have wide feet these are great! If you have narrow feet these might not work out.

Irritated rubbing at first
I really like Dr Marts as a brand but the leather usually is not broken-in to wear at first. I purchased adhesive velvet to line the inside leather. OMG! So very comfortable now. I’m no shoe designer but I thought the velvet accent added some flare as I folded the velvet over. I’ll do the top of the band as well. Just wanted to share my own solution for comfy shoes. [Sorry for my pic having lots of dust due to a sanding project.]
