What it is: A candle presented in glass textured with a classic geometric 3D cube pattern and colored to match the rose that served as the fragrance and packaging inspiration.

Fragrance story: Voluspa candles are hand-poured in the United States from sustainable, ecologically sound, pesticide-free manufacturing. The candles feature a proprietary coconut wax blend and a 100% cotton wick.

Bergamot Rose: featuring notes of tart green bergamot, yellow garden roses and orange flower.
Rose Colored Glasses: featuring notes of pink rose petals, neroli bloom, warm amber musk and sweet vanilla.
Rose Petal Ice Cream: featuring notes of vanilla bean ice cream, tart raspberry ribbon, marshmallow vanilla crème and sugared rose petals.
Rose Otto: featuring notes of seamed distilled rosa damascena flower tops and Bulgarian rose essential oil.
Milk Rose: featuring notes of Bulgarian rose, marshmallow milk and white copali amber.

beautiful

This candle is so beautiful. It looks beautiful and smells beautiful. It’s very subtle and does not overpower a space but still has quite a bit of throw. I got it in the Rose Otto scent as I wanted to try it out in a small size and before I commit to a hearth size for my non-working fireplace. I wish Nordstrom carried the hearth size as I’d prefer to buy through them!

Wrong Item Received

I was really looking forward to receiving this lovely candle, but instead Nordstrom sent me the completely wrong item, the REMI by Rosie Jane travel perfume. It was disappointing to receive something so different from what I ordered, especially since I was excited to try the candle specifically. While the perfume itself is nice, it was not what I was expecting or wanting. I hope this was just a one-off mistake, but it definitely took away from the experience of the purchase.

Pretty but subtle

I haven’t had a candle in ages and since these are reasonably priced, I bought 2 (Milk Rose & Ice Cream). They are not heady house filling scented candles like Diptyque or Cire Trudon, they are better for intimate spaces like bedrooms, dining areas, etc. At first I was kind of worried as even unburnt the scent was very delicate and sheer, but it (thankfully) blooms as it burns - gourmand with a hint of rose, a nice play on vanilla that isn’t the typical bakery type fragrance. As it warms up the rose becomes a lot more prominent. The cut glass jar adds a touch of glamour as well, a kind of soft Hollywood, feminine chic. If you are looking for an enveloping, voluptuous scent, I would try another brand. These are more subtle, a kind of everyday sophistication, something that is more for yourself as opposed to others.

Pretty but not Fragrant

I bought this candle online and quite disappointed with the purchase. The candle jar is pretty but the candle itself is not fragrant. It’s the perfect guest bathroom or guest bedroom candle. I cannot speak for the other Voluspa candles but the Rose Otto candle is a let down.

Total miss

I’ve wanted this candle for awhile and I suppose I determined what it would smell like before I received it. So disappointed. It smells like plastic? No one in my house could smell anything other than plastic or kid’s chapstick. The sticker on the candle was crooked and peeling off when I received it. I still lit the candle so I will keep it and use the jar at least. I wanted to try more scents but now I’m scared to.

beautiful holder but scent is not so much

2 stars because it is a beautiful candle to look at! I was excited about reusing the container for storing q tips or something in the bathroom but the actual scent bergamot rose is SO bad. does not smell like either which I both love the true scent of. super disappointed in the fragrance by the company which I normally really enjoy!

Heaven on earth !

I have tried hundreds of candles. This is by far my fave - it’s clean and the smell is amazing ! I fall asleep tonit every night. I want you to get this but save a few for me ! Enjoy -
