Willa 2.0 Flat (Women)

I purchased these, in pink, along with the Willa sneaker to compare and keep one of them. I have the Willa sneaker in a fabric and like it. However, the leather sneaker just received I can't get on my foot - the top of the shoe comes too high on my foot and I cannot comfortably get it on. This shoe, the flat Willa, is a keeper. the fit is great for me. My foot slides right in. I haven't worn it enough to see if it is as supportive as the sneaker. I do see I will need to wear it with thin socks (I was hoping not to) because the outside rubs under my ankle and I'm sure would cause blisters. So I give it 4 starts, not 5. This shoe reminds me of a Fit-Flop "smoking" slipper I had years ago that I loved to wear around the house, but with a little more support. Regarding fit: I planned to wear this in the summer without socks and ordered an 8. It will be okay with thin socks. If I wanted to wear it with a heavier sock I would need an 8.5

Wore these shoes for 5 minutes and got blisters so terrible on the back of my ankle, they were dripping blood. Unfortunately those 5 minutes were my walk from my house to the subway, so the shoes got dirty enough that I can’t return them. 4 days later and the blisters are still super tender and sore. I bought these because I have a different pair of Vionics that I love, but after this experience I will never be purchasing from the company again.
