These slides are comfortable out of the box. No breaking in period. Very cute and trendy with the thick braids of leather, look expensive. Would buy again. Slightly on the big side but not enough to order down a size.

Shoes Are NOT Comfortable
Shoes Are Not Comfortable. In putting them on, the braiding takes up a good majority of where you put your feet and the lack of padding for the bottom of your feet is very lacking and the shoes are being returned.

Not Flattering
I really liked the arch support as I am flat footed, and was so excited to find sandals with arch support. But soles didn’t feel thick enough to be comfortable after wearing for awhile. The criss cross design was not flattering on my feet, and I didn’t think they justified the price point being synthetic leather.
