What it is: An SPF50 daily mineral sunscreen that helps visibly reduce dark spots and evens skin tone while preventing visible signs of sun aging.
What it does: The Suncare's nongreasy silicone-free formula has a lightweight texture that leaves a natural glow finish and works well as a makeup base. When using a mineral filter, like zinc oxide, to reach a high SPF 50 coverage, a white cast can occur. This is due to the weight and thickness of the filter for sun protection.
Key ingredients:
- Nonnano zinc oxide: protects skin from damaging UV rays
- Grapevine viniferine: visibly brightens skin
- Niacinamide: hydrates, smoothes and evens skin tone
How to use: Wear the suncare alone or as the perfect base for makeup. Warm it with hands and smooth it all over. Apply generously and evenly 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply at least every 2 hours. Use a water-resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating. Pair with Vinoperfect Serum (sold separately) for better results.

I wanted to like this sunscreen but it feels heavy and after 20 minutes my skin can’t breathe. I’ve also noticed some congestion in my pores since adding this to my routine.

Great product but a white cast is present
I absolutely adore Caudalíe products, so when I saw that they launched an SPF I naturally had to try it out. It has a wonderful texture and it’s very soothing, but sadly it does have a white cast no matter how much rubbing you do. If you happen to have fairer skin the white cast will not show, however, if you have melanin in your skin you will see a white cast. My search continues for an SPF greater than 30 that does not leave a white cast.

No White Cast
I love mineral sunscreens and this Caudalie Vinosun Protect Brightening Daily Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50 with Niacinamide is great. It's a little tinted because of the caramel ingredient, so there's thankfully no white cast. Just make sure you shake the bottle really good since it is a zinc based sunscreen. It's a very runny lightweight sunscreen that is perfect for summer around the corner. This was gifted by Caudalie US.

Hydrating and comfortable
Gifted by Caudalies. The lotion texture is a bit unusual for me, but I really like it. It feels lightweight, blends easily, and doesn’t leave a greasy finish. My skin looks more fresh and hydrated after using it, and it works well under makeup.
