What it is: A lightweight, silicone-free moisturizer with hyaluronic acid that hydrates and leaves skin dewy and supple.

Awful Peeling with the New Formula
I have been a religious user of Caudalie products since 2014, specifically their face moisturizers, eye creams and serums, and have made so many friends, fans of their products as well. Since 2014 and with their Vinosource line, I was using the moisturizing sorbet during winter and fall and the mattifying fluid for spring and summer with no issues. However, ever since they have changed the formulation in 2022 and made the VinoHydra line, I have found the gel moisturizer in both the tube and the tub format, which I was told is the equivalent to the Vinosource mattifying fluid, absolutely dissatisfactory. It peels no matter whether you use anything underneath it or not, and several of my other friends have found the same issue. It is also so disappointing to see these same concerns voiced by other customers previously being dismissed by the company. I was recently told that the formulation has changed since 2022 and gave this product another chance, and NOPE, it still peels like crazy and I am left with yet another tube of this product that I can't return. BEWARE and DO NOT PURCHASE.

Lovely moisturiser but not good under makeup
The moisturiser itself is lovely but under makeup pills so won’t repurchase. Have tried waiting 10-15 minutes before adding suncream, then another 15 mins before foundation but this isn’t enough and life is too short. Have given to my husband. However, I tried the serum in the same range which I can recommend instead

Lightweight yet hydrating
As someone with combination skin, that is also sensitive. I love how it's lightweight but leaves my skin hydrated all day. I've bought it twice now, that's how much I enjoy this moisturizer. The only thing that could make this a little better would be the packaging, if it were in a glass pump package it would be fantastic, but for the price I'm not mad at it.

Great formula
The gel formula is what initially drew me to this moisturiser. It works really well on my combination skin - it feels moisturised but not oily, and doesn’t cause any breakouts.
