Awful Peeling with the New Formula
I have been a religious user of Caudalie products since 2014, specifically their face moisturizers, eye creams and serums, and have made so many friends, fans of their products as well. Since 2014 and with their Vinosource line, I was using the moisturizing sorbet during winter and fall and the mattifying fluid for spring and summer with no issues. However, ever since they have changed the formulation in 2022 and made the VinoHydra line, I have found the gel moisturizer in both the tube and the tub format, which I was told is the equivalent to the Vinosource mattifying fluid, absolutely dissatisfactory. It peels no matter whether you use anything underneath it or not, and several of my other friends have found the same issue. It is also so disappointing to see these same concerns voiced by other customers previously being dismissed by the company. I was recently told that the formulation has changed since 2022 and gave this product another chance, and NOPE, it still peels like crazy and I am left with yet another tube of this product that I can't return. BEWARE and DO NOT PURCHASE.

Feels nice but peels
I think it gives hydration to an extent. It is not layer capable with other products or sunscreen. It does not rub in, it is like a mask that lays over the skin and will rub away if you add other products or rub/itch your face.

Best moisturizer, does not leave your skin oily or heavy. It's my fav! I'm at my 10th tube now and I'm never changing!!

Perfect Lightweight Moisturiser for Sensitive, Oily Skin
This gel moisturiser is perfect for my sensitive, oily skin. It’s very lightweight, absorbs quickly, and doesn’t feel greasy at all. It gives just the right amount of hydration without clogging pores or causing irritation. My skin feels fresh, calm, and balanced after using it. A great everyday moisturiser, especially if you prefer something light.

Perfect moisturiser
I love this moisturiser- I use it in combination with the salicylic serum. Despite struggling with acne prone and sensitive skin, this moisturiser is perfect with no complications. I would definitely recommend as it is very light and soft on skin. I use this generally 3 times a week as I have generally oily skin so try to reduce moisture, but find this is the best moisturiser for oily skin (in my opinion)
