Great Uniform Staple
Great staple for school uniforms. They fit pretty true to size...for reference, I purchased the size 10 for my slim 10-year-old son. We buy these every year and they don't disappoint. Well made and wash very nicely. Great quality!

Vineyard Vines Breaker Shorts
Nice material and has the elastic to adjust the waist. My boy is a small 3.5 year old so I would say the shorts are between small and true to size since size 4T fit him just a tiny bit big.

Go up a size or 2
Great quality and good looking chino shorts but runs small. Originally purchased a size 7 for my son, but returned for a 10 (which was a little big but the adjustable waist band made up for the difference). Took off one star because of the price.
