do not wait - just order it
I first saw this pullover in 2020 and regret not buying it then, but I have had this now for three weeks-ish and I’ve worn it at least a dozen times. Cozy and chic all at the same time. I will be ordering in other colors for sure. For reference, I’m 5’4” 140lbs and wearing a small in taupe. Don’t make the mistake I did - just buy it.

Golden Bronze shows the wrong picture
I ordered golden bronze, which the picture shows as being more of a golden color, but what I received was brown/tan. It turns out Nordstrom has the wrong color/picture attached. I tried to bring it to their attention but they just told me to return it, so be aware the color is depicted wrong. I ended up buying the correct color from Varley's website.

Listen to me: DO NOT hesitate. This top delivers in comfort, style, and quality. It is certainly worth the price due its high level of versatility: wear with nicer pants and loafers to work, switch to jeans and sneakers for casual, and then switch again to leggings for errands or stylish comfort. I’m going to buy in a second color for all those reasons.

Bulky and not cute
So many friends love Varley and I thought this looked like a great pullover but its nothing special. Its not warm enough for cold day and not light enough for warm day. A lot of fabric at the neck and it is difficult to wear under jackets and coats. Looks bulky and ill fitting on calls. Its an expensive pullover to wear inside

So soft and so comfortable
Between all the positive reviews, my love of comfy sweaters, and seeing how cute it looked in person, I knew I needed to buy this sweater. I got the XS and I’m glad I did because it is definitely oversized. I’m 5’6”, 130lbs, 34B, hourglass shape. I cannot wait to wear this all winter and now I want more colors and styles!

I cannot recommend this sweater more. It's kinda thick but in a nice material way, but not too thick. It's so perfect with leggings and jeans. I size up to a large so it covers some of my bum. If I could wear this everyday, I would. I have 2 colors and I'll be getting more. Wish Nordstrom would stock the black.
