Pima Cotton Slim Fit V-Neck T-Shirt

I got these on sale. Because of what it sold at regular price, I was expecting a heavier cotton. Not the case. Though very comfortable, the material is thin. See a zoom-in of an image I uploaded. The material is ultra thin. It is a slubbed cotton as described, but to see the slub of the material, you would need to look very closely, otherwise it looks like a basic tee. I may have ordered 5 white t-shirts from different brands like ALLSAINTS, ATM and Theory and they all look and feel like undershirts. Also, my size Large did not fit like a slim fit tee as described. I’m realizing t-shirts priced over $100 may be what I may need to consider - a heavier ply cotton. I’m about to order t-shirts from REISS , the ones at $130 (@Nordstrom.com) to see if paying a higher price point will offer what I’m looking for in a t-shirt I’ll review once I receive that item at the REISS Page here at Nordstrom.com.
