Pepa Ankle Strap Sandal (Women)

This is one of my favorite styles From Vince. It feels terrific on the foot. While I would have preferred a wooden heel, as they've done in the past, the height on this one is perfect. It's easy to wear day to night with no break in time. Now, for the cons: The strap is thin so it can be uncomfortable. It may soften over time, but it's something to consider. Also, the buckle is tiny and a bit flimsy which can be more challenging especially for mature eyes and fingers. Finally, I want to mention the leather, which to me is the biggest con. I love how soft it is BUT every single scratch, nearly every bump mark is going to show up on these babies. The pair I tried arrived marred on the side and the top of both shoes (in 2 different locations) and I could not gently buff them out. So, they are going back. As much as I like the shoe and the brand, I will not repurchase.

These sandals are so good, I had to order the black color after purchasing the blonde color this summer. I’m a size 8.5 in most shoes but order a size 8 in Vince shoes since they do run large and wide. I don’t have a high arch so my feet tend to be “wider/flatter,” making these perfect. I love the different looking heel and the height of the heel makes them easy and comfortable to walk in for long periods of time.
