Prasata Bootie

These boots are darling! But, man are they sized inconsistently. I tried these on in the store, asked for my normal size 6.5 (medium width), too short. The Sales Associate suggested trying a 7, sure... my foot slipped right out of the shoe on the first step. So I got home bummed that these darling booties just would work for me, but for some reason, I checked Nordstrom's website and noticed that they offered them in a Wide... Perfect I thought, I'll order a 6.5 W. Well, they came in the mail today and again... my foot slipped right out of the shoe. What gives? To say I'm bummed is an understatement, but WOW talk about sizing issues with these booties.

I love Vince Camuto shoes! So I was hugely disappointed when I tried these on. They flop... whenever you walk, the back of the shoe is almost like a flip flop. I can't figure out why but I can't believe that this hasn't been a huge complaint with the prior reviews. I ordered a Size 7.5 - my always go to in Vince shoes and all booties. Not sure why I did 2 stars even except that as usual the quality of Vince stuff is excellent.

They look beautiful, but the back is too loose. They slip with every step I take. I'm going to try the BP ones instead since the reviews are much better.

These boots are really cute, but the sizing was wrong for my foot. The size 7 which I normally wear in a boot was way too big and slipped off my heel, but the size 6 1/2 was way too tight. Cute boot and well made, but the size did not work for me

These booties are so comfortable and are so cute! I would say that they run a little large. I am normally a 7.5 or 8, but had to get a size 7 in these.

I love the look and the quality of the materials in this bootie. I have several pairs of Vince Camuto ankle boots and was very excited about this new style. Im only giving it 4 starts instead of 5 because of the fit in the ankle area. I normally wear a size 7 shoe but almost all of my Vince Camuto ankle boots are size 7.5. In my opinion VC runs kinda narrow. I was pleased that there is a wide width option and I decided to give that a try in the greenish grayish color. It fit, but it was snug across the toes (from base of big toe across to pinky toe) and the width is pretty much the same as my size 7M pair that I own. Its not unbearably snug though, and I know with wear and time it will loosen up. As some other reviewers have mentioned the heel slips a lot in these booties. I normally wear socks with my ankle boots, and socks do help with the slipping some. But it just seems that in this bootie the ankle opening is overall wide. On one hand, the leather is very soft and will not rub on the ankle at all. On the other hand it does feel like your foot is going to slip right out of the bootie. My mom didn't buy a pair for that very reason. I bought them anyways because I love the color and style and can deal with the heel slipping. I got a second pair in black but this time size 7.5M. The width was just about the same as the wide width pair and the length is a smidge longer. The heel still slips, but not as badly as the wide width. I suspect the width in the wide sizes is wider in the heel and ankle than across the toes. Which is too bad because Im sure there are lots of people like me who need the width across the toes and not in the ankle and heels.
