Pattern Placket Shirt

This is a beautiful, silky shirt that looks even better in person than on the model (who looks like she's wearing pajamas). It's a loose fitting sophisticated shirt that dresses up a pair of slacks or dark jeans, especially when it's buttoned up to the top. It doesn't wrinkle easily and should be a good travel top.

Small inside button on the placard near the collar was the first signal that the blouse was well constructed. I was thinking that I was going to need to gently sew in a snap, but they anticipated the slightly gapping fabric. The external half ball buttons are covered with the cuff fabric section that has the small thin stripes so will hide wear and not show every small stain should I forget to wash hands after apply my lotions and potions. The fabric feels like thick crepe which = no or little wrinkling. The back yoke and fabric allows the blouse to skim over other fabric should you wear a top underneath. This is a great blouse for office, art galleries, fine restaurants, etc. I ordered Med, 5’4” and decided to have the hem taken up.
