Lamcy Penny Loafer (Men)

There were other reviewers with the same issue reported, I am wondering if Nordstrom keeps re-selling the same pair of shoes. The pair we got had a wire or plastic wire sticking out under the tongue flap of the right shoe — the left was fine. This piece maybe became dislodged after someone wore these, because this pair was obviously worn. The back of the heel was worn down a bit and the soles were scuffed, the top of the shoes had already creased from walking. Surprising lack of quality control from Nordstrom. I added pics of both shoes and you can see the one that’s intact vs the one that broke through. So maybe the problem is just this one pair that was returned worn and damaged and not some manufacturing defect with these shoes. These were size 10 cognac
