Floral Collared Wrap Dress

I loved almost everything about this dress—the fit, the cut, the fabric, the color—but the sleeves are weird. They’re too long and too wide and make the dress look rather grandmotherly. I considered tailoring it because I really did love the rest of the dress but in the end I decided to return.

I ordered 2 sizes, xs fits fine & will return the small. The quality of the material is good & the style is nice as shown on the pic. However, the liner is longer than the dress itself when I tried it on. So I have to make some alterations before I can wear it. By the way, the dresses were nicely packed & delivered on time.

I’m very confused by the sizing; I ordered a large and an XL as I was not sure which would fit. I tried on the XL first and felt I was swimming in the top (arm holes/sleeves big, and too much fabric over the chest leading to drooping). I tried to put on the large, and my arms would not even go into the holes. The arm holes were too tight to go past my bicep area. It also felt like there was not enough fabric across the back to even allow me to get my arms in had the arm holes been big enough. This size XS/S seeming dress was clearly labeled large, so I was super confused. Overall very sad that neither one fit. I’m tempted to try another large but not sure if this is just how that entire size is?
