Evangee Knee High Boot (Women)

These boots are just gorgeous!! Right out of the packaging I loved them. Smooth, sleek & sexy. They were barely snug on my calves, but I have muscular calves. Nice bc there is a small elasticized "v" to help with that. Not a deal breaker for me. The only problem is the shaft is just a 1/4" too tall for my knee to bend, as I'm 5'2". It was worth a shot to see if the prettiest boots just might work for me! Alas, back to the store they go.

Quite by mistake a purchased a 9 and I should have purchased a 9.5, which is now unavailable, shame on me. The leather isn't lambskin, it isn't described as such, and therefore may require a wear or two to break-in. The heel style and shape make for a comfortable walk given the heel height and the boot holds its shape perfectly. The red currant color is stunning, I have worn the boot a handful of times and garnered a compliment in every case. I'm still working on stretching the toe box a bit given my purchased size, but I'm a solid 14.75 in calf and the boot zips perfectly. Despite the error made on my part in purchasing a half size smaller than I should have, the boot is so beautiful I'm working it out.

I have worn Vince Camuto for over 10 years. One pair of motto boots in particular has been a go to for about that whole time. So I know that they used to have higher quality leather and last. However this is my second pair of sub par boots I’ve bought. The color is pretty but the leather looked worn in spots and felt almost fake. Absolutely heartbreaking I really really wanted these red boots. These honestly if I kept them probably wouldn’t last a year. While that might be okay for some I don’t believe in participating in disposable fashion. I’ll just pay a couple hundred more for Italian made higher quality whenever I find the right red boot.
