Boyfriend Trousers

The material is nice, the colors are good for spring/summer, but as others have noted, there are some problems with these pants. They really are cut as if one has a boy's figure. If the hips fit, the waist is way too big, if the waist fits, the hips and legs are too tight (as someone else noted, the pockets show through and the fabric pulls at the crotch). I've tried these in both 2 and 4; usually I'm a 4 in Vince; these had me wishing they would make a size 3. However, that probably wouldn't solve the hip/waist ratio problem. Also, while the photos indicate the idea is to wear them rolled up above your ankle, if you do want to wear them full length, beware the inseam is a bit short. It will just barely cover your ankle. I suspect after one wash/dry, they'd be too short. I wound up sending these back (size 2 and 4). Too bad. It is impossible to evaluate whether they run "too large or too small' (per Nordstrom's review scale). They aren't true to size, but they are too large in one place and too small in another, depending on which size you order. And likely too short no matter what.

Great pants for any occasion, but runs small. I'm 5'2 and 120lb and I'm usually a 6 maybe 8 If I want a looser fit. Even in 8 these were snug and would have been ok for a more polished look. But I wanted a casual more loose fit chino like pant so I had to get a 10. Other than that, I love them!

These pants are so pretty on display; comfortable year-round fabric; a versatile wardrobe piece with fashionable colors. Sadly, the fit was horrid on my hourglass figure, I could put 2 fists in the waist area. I know this is a boyfriend cut, but nonetheless the waist area just seems to be cut too large. However, if you have a very straight figure, these straight-cut boyfriend pants may work for you.
