Terrible Buy
I knew that buying a licensed product was a long shot, but WOW these are a joke just like their block sets - if I worked at Viking and saw this, I’d be mortified. The blades are all covered with nicks up and down all portions, from the bottom of the tang to the blade. Avoid and don’t waste your money!

Too large
I ordered this set for new dinner knifes and they are comically large. Returning since they seem like kitchen knifes and not ones to use at the table.

Overall, these are great steak knives. The handle is wood, so it’s hand wash only which in today’s world kind of blows. My kids do the dishes and never hand wash, so if I’m not on top of it, then these go in the dishwasher. They’re splintering now. So if you’re doing the washing, these are great! If you’re not and those doing the washing don’t listen, then not great. I love how sharp they are as well.

Great Knives
I bought a set of the black-handled knives last year at the anniversary sale and loved them so much I bought another set to keep at a family member’s house during the sale this year. They are a nice weight, so pretty, and cut steak with ease. I recommend hand washing and not letting them sit in a sink full of water. If you are lazy and don’t do your dishes right away or use a dishwasher, I would probably pass as the handles would likely get ruined over time.
