This set of nonstick pans delivers the superior heat transfer of cast iron for searing and the even distribution of clad cookware.

What it does: The blue carbon steel construction is lighter and more maneuverable than cast iron, making it easier for those who struggle with the weight of cast iron. As a thinner alloy, the carbon steel heats more quickly than cast iron while still maintaining its even and consistent heat distribution.

Additional features: The blue carbon steel is able to withstand high temperatures without damaging the pan, making it perfect for finishing steaks with a quick sear or sautéing a quick stir fry.

My new go to pans!

I love these pans! They are much lighter than my cast iron yet still nonstick without any nonstick chemicals. I've stayed away from soap and long exposure to water but do see some change in color. This apparently is natural for carbon steel as it ages. They look a little more rustic and function the same if not better. The handle is also much longer than my other pans, which is great, it stays cool and is comfy to hold.

rusted after sautéing spinach

Nice nonstick pans, except my 8” one rusted the first day I used it after sautéing spinach.

totally disappointed

I have had these pots less that three weeks. The coating is stripping and I’m seeing the surface rust. I’m planning to return.

Pretty good, like cast iron without the weight

These pans heat up quickly and brown food nicely. Because they are steel without any coating, you need to season them like cast iron to get the non-stick quality. You cannot leave liquids or acidic foods in them or they will react and rust, like cast iron. We care for ours like a cast iron skillet, brush clean in very hot water and wipe out to dry with paper towel or soft cloth. The color has changed a bit, but this is due to heat patina and seasoning. I personally like the pan design and handle, but it is not like a traditional non-stick with a coating, and more like a cast iron without the weight. I would recommend if you like using cast iron for cooking.

Need to treat like cast iron

These are gorgeous pans when you first get them. After the first use, it got terribly stained even after I seasoned it as directed. I have to season after every use. I thought these would only require one seasoning. It’s a lot of work and I wish I got nonstick pans.
