Lighter than I expected, but does the job
I bought this because I was looking for a wooden cutting board I could leave out on the counter for general use--cutting bread, fruits, etc.--though interestingly enough, I don't plan to use it to carve meat. It feels somewhat lighter than I was expecting, but I wasn't looking for a solid wood block, and this suits my needs.

Lovely piece. Will need to exchange/return edges all around the drainage are unfinished. Very sharp & will/can splinter. Hopefully they will have one finished completely so I can exchange, instead of return.

It arrived cracked
As soon as I was wiping it down, I notice wood fibers. I gave myself a splinter. Too bad it's not returnable. I got it during the Nordstrom Sale.

Lovely but Splinters
A beautiful board that would be lovely for charcuterie as well as carving. Looks great, but the finish is rough in spots around the juice groove and splinters easily pulled off. A real disappointment, as I wanted to keep it.
