Best Cookware Ever

I love these pots and pans... reading the review regarding the time it took another reviewer to boil water... I found that it was extremely fast... so not sure what the difference was... I love these!!

heartbreaking

I purchased this set of cookware along with the matching roasting pan and kettle for my husband for his birthday. The black is peeling off as you can see in my picture. We have only been using them for a month. We cook daily so they do get some regular use but we take care of our stuff so it’s not abused in any way. They are wonderful cookware otherwise. There is a nice weight to them, they handle everything we have cooked wonderfully. But that black isn’t going to last and these are too much money for them to look like they were purchased second hand.

heartbreaking

Takes a Long time to heat up

Love the look of this set although it takes an extreme amount of time to heat the pots up. So this may be a good thing if you say are simmering a sauce and want it to slowly warm. It allows you more control without scorching or burning. The down side is if you just want to boil some water for pasta in the large pot it takes much longer than other sets I’ve owned. Covering it helps but it’s become annoying the amount of BTU/fuel needed to heat things up. I’m going to say it’s due to the thickness of the bottom of these pots and pans. I use hexclad for my day to day skillets with better results. These also stain easily as well inside. Good looking set and well constructed is a plus.

Stay cool handles

The description of this set says the pots and pans have “stay cool” handles. The opposite is true and the handles get very hot. After two family members burned their hands I am returning the set.

Black coating scratches

Nice heavy stainless steel set, but after first use some of the black coating on the outside is already scratching and chipping. I imagine within 6 months the outside will look terrible and all scratched up.
