Misleading quality
My wife got a set of these as a wedding present just a few weeks ago. As she was (carefully) putting them in the dishwasher before using them for the very first time, she barely knicked the outer edge of one of the others, causing some of the paint to chip off. I tried to super glue it back together (I think we both knew this wouldn't work but it was more or less to console her). She was thrilled to use them for years- but they turned out to be more like a decoration as opposed to a "dishwasher friendly" plate. Wouldn't suggest using these as a normal holiday plate for dinner etc considering the price.
