Satin Wrap Midi Skirt

I love this skirt. It looks, feels, fits great, and is super flattering, but once I put it on and started walking or sat down, the thing pretty much mimics a sarong and my underwear were pretty much exposed due to the fact that it truly is a wrap skirt. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong when I tie it or what. I'm not sure how to address this because no matter where I position the side with the opening, if I move a certain way, people will clearly get a show. Given that the material is satin, it doesn't really stay put, so even if I try to hide my legs from showing when sitting, I'd have to hold the garment with my hand because it will slide right open and expose my leg - and not in a good way! A little leg is great, but this is like up to my crotch. I already cut the tags off, so I plan to keep it, but I need to figure out how to make it work so that I can wear it without constantly worry about exposing myself when I walk or sit down. I probably would have returned it, but didn't realize this issue until the second time I put it on to wear it to a function and realized that it was not going to work once I started walking.

Clare is completely right. I took off the tags, tried it on at my place and then went out for a CLIENT DINNER. the second I was walking into the restaurant accompanied by a light breeze, I realized the big problem- this skirt is literally a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen. It leaves nothing to the imagination when you walk, sit, do anything besides stand completely still. I’m so annoyed that I’m still going to try to take it back, tags off or no.
