Floral Ruched Long Sleeve Minidress

Size chart specific to this brand/item listing is wildly inaccurate. XL says a waist size of 36-39, not even close. I’m definitely below the lower measurement, but ordered up a size to ensure the bust would fit, and the dress is laughably small. It’s also super short, like barely longer than my underwear. Returning ASAP.

I’m normally an xs, I’m an xs in other vici clothes, im 5ft 115lbs. I ordered an xs and s based on reviews. The s was too big. It was loose on the waist. The xs was too small on the hip area and I am bigger on the top than bottom. I never have a problems with clothes fitting too small on my bottom half. If you read the other review that had a good fit she mentions being bigger on the waist. The small would have fit if my waist was bigger. I took the dress off to look at it and noticed it’s a very straight dress. It does not go in on the waist and out on the hips like most dresses. It also has no stretch. If you are looking for a curve hugging dress this is likely not it unless your waist and hips are the same size. Or unless you like a dress to fit your hips and be loose on your waist. Being lose on my waist made me look bigger and look to square shape. I’m bigger on top a DD and the top is perfect. It’s the bottom that’s too small in proportion to the waist, and I don’t think I have a small waist I think it’s average to my figure. I love the prints. Just didn’t work for my shape.

This is a gorgeous dress, with fabric that looks much more expensive than the dress is, and a super flattering fit. Unfortunately the reviews are correct in that the dress runs quite small. At 5’3” and 100 pounds, with a slender, straight build, I am usually a true XS or XXS; however this dress was entirely too tight in the hips! I could just barely zip it and certainly couldn’t sit or move around comfortably in it all. I might order a small, but I worry it would be too big elsewhere. Again, my figure is balanced, and my hip measurement is only 34”. The dress definitely is not an XS!!

Other reviews said the dress was much smaller than expected so I ordered up. The small was too big, loose and unflattering. I ended up getting an x-small and it fit just right. I chose to wear the dress with a thick black belt to accentuate my waist and received many, many compliments. It’s perfect for spring!

I'm 5'1, ordered an XL, and this dress hit right above my knees! The bottom half felt very full with the ruching actually, not at all like the model photo. I ordered larger based on other reviews and because I have a bigger waist for my height even though I'm smaller everywhere elsewhere. I can see if I ordered my regular M/L how the waist could be kinda tight (for me personally) but I actually think this feels like a regular dress proportion wise and could work if you're more hourglass-y. The quality is also pretty good, perfect for a wedding guest dress. I only returned because it was slightly big on me but would've worked with my normal size I think. I'd reco trying your regular size and one above.
