Gorgeous and flattering twist classic

This is gorgeous and very slimming. The shoulders are narrow and sharp without being tight (and I have broad shoulders), the gold buttons aren’t flashy but add a little style (and snap, not button). I’m 5’7” and it hits just below the knee. Cloth is a good mid weight, warm but not bulky. I followed the sizing and it fits just right.

Size up

I love the color and the button detailing. However when tried it on, difficult to clasp the buttons, and extra fabric on the back portion above the belt. Wanted to love this coat because of its beautiful color and look. Ended returning. Also, I would size up if you’re thinking of layering (if you live in Chi or Ny) somewhere where temps don’t go under 30 you’ll be fine. But not a layering coat or main coat.

very nice

I gave this coat four stars because I have not worn it yet, I do expect it to be a five star purchase. It is beautiful and the color is very appealing. The description does say it runs large but I would disagree with that, especially considering you may have something bulky on underneath. Do not order a size down. Would buy again.

Classy, beautiful

5’9, athletic build, preferred Size 4. Beautiful. The buttons are magnetic, which is really convenient. I loved the whole style of this coat. Warm while still looking classy. My only complaint is that it doesn’t button up to the top; this only matters if you’re in truly cold weather though. The jacket is plenty warm if you’re in above-freezing temperatures

Nice design and quality

I'm 5'10" and 160 pounds - size 12 fits me beautifully. Color and cut are gorgeous. The snap closures are different than the typical buttons one usually sees on this sort of coat. It joins a J Crew black wool dress coat I've been wearing for nearly 20 years. I'd say this Via Spiga is of the same quality. Looking forward to some chilly weather so I can show it off!

beautiful color but did not like buttons

It’s a beautiful green color and the gold on it looks great. however, the buttons are supposed to be magnetic but still pretty hard to clasp on and I don’t want to spend 5 mins trying to do that on a cold day when I just need my jacket on. The lining felt nice and it was a great length. Too bad!
