Vetyverio Eau de Parfum

Vetyverio is very unique. If you are not a fan of perfume smelling like a magazine pull out page, you will be a big fan. It’s sweet yet woody. It’s not pungent but impressionable. Eau de parfum is definitely the more powerful choice than the lighter Eau de toilette. One rant I have is for the sales rep who tried to sell a Chanel product that was nothing like the scent I was asking for, boasting how much she knows about Chanel products but never even offered to try it on my skin. I had to ask her to spray me so I can see how they smell on me after listening to her extensive talk about how much insider information she has about Chanel perfumes. This was the first sales rep whom I had to ask to spray test on my skin first after years of perfume shopping at Nordstrom. Also, I know I sound cheap but she was the first one to not offer me any samples from either Chanel or Diptyque even after hearing my quest to find a new summer scent. I was too bashful to ask for a sample of a similar scent I was looking for but next time, I might muster up more courage next time.

I cannot recommend Diptyque Vetyverio Eau de Parfum enough! From the moment I tried it, I was captivated by its alluring scent. This fragrance is a true masterpiece that effortlessly combines sophistication and elegance. The notes of vetiver are perfectly balanced with hints of citrus, creating a unique and memorable experience. This perfume is flawless, the fragrance is rich and complex, can be used by men and women and all throughout the whole year. as all Diptyque products the bottle is beautiful with a beautiful designe. The bottle is good quality, easy to use and 100ml safe to travel.

I have been wearing vetyverio for the past 5 years, its the perfect scent for any occasion, so fresh and woody with feminine floral notes that aren't too much. My mum and grandmother, and two friends (one male one female) have also now bought the scent after loving it on me - a great all rounder with a perfect balance between masculine and feminine!

I have work this perfume for years and my mum admired it every time I wore it. Now we both match as she loved it so much! I prefer the EDT as it’s fresher and lighter and I find it’s long lasting on my skin. Mum has the EDP so a slight difference as it is stronger and less citrusy. Both are perfect and a good price point as perfume prices are getting higher and higher.

I think this is one of diptyque's unsung hero scents that doesn't get a lot of attention, which is a shame because it's a great scent. The opening is very fresh and citrusy. The vetyver is noticeable right from the start. The heart of the fragrance is floral with rose, geranium, and ylang ylang. I am not a fan of ylang ylang normally, but it works here. I pick up a lot on the geranium. It settles into a nice woody base with nutmeg, cedar, vetyver, and musk. The lasting power is surprisingly strong, it lasts on my skin for hours. It isn't too loud.
