Vetiver Cologne

Above average aroma for this price range. I don't get a synthetic, aroma chemical melange with this blend like with some fragrances in the $70~$95 range perfumes. In terms of quality, Murdock was a surprising and off-the-beaten-path find. Now then, what is the actual juice like? Was my nose broken when i was testing at Nordstrom? At the fragrance counter it was a no frills, no unnecessary bells & whistles + ultra realistic vetiver aroma. Very pleasing. I purchased up a bottle but it sits around completely unused because I get mainly a dominant theme of nutmeg from my bottle. Nutmeg is indeed a note in this blend but at Nordtrom the tester bottle was a vetiver theme, not nutmeg. Ask for a small sample and test thoroughly before deciding whether to commit to a full bottle. Never trust the fleeting encounter you have with a perfume at the fragrance counter when shopping for these kind of things.
