Hoodie Dickey

I love the Veronica Beard clothing line. I have 8 or 9 jackets and 17 Dickies. I guess you would say I'm obsessed! LOL ... it just makes dressing so easy. Whatever I decide to wear, I can usually top it with a jacket along with one of the stylish Dickies. These Hoodie Dickies make a dressy outfit look a little more casual. I also have Cashmere Hoodie Dickies that are a little dressier and warmer. The only downside is they suggest/require dry cleaning, so I am very careful about wearing the white one. Some of the most expensive ones do go on sale on Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack, and the Veronica Beard website, among others.

For those of us who aren’t a size 2, layering has not been so flattering. The zip in Dickey Doesn’t add any bulk and is so flattering! You can dress up or down the outfit with your shoes and the dickey you chose. I bought the grey hooded dickey to start and I’m hooked. I just zip it in and make the adjustments, put a light weight shirt on and go. I do unzip the dickey from the bottom a little, so when you button the jacket it doesn’t show and gives a more polished look. I wore my tennis shoes one day and another time time I wore my high heels. Both times people told me how nice I looked. It’s pricey, but worth it Thanks Nordstrom’s!!

Hard to review just the Dickie, when these really make the Dickey Jacket complete. I have the Scuba Jacket in Black, purchased this and a Leopard Anorak style Dickie, and they really are phenomenal. These allow me to take my outfits from casual to dressy, edgy to classic, with absolutely no effort at all. Every time I buy a new Dickie, I feel like I'm expanding my wardrobe exponentially. Love, love, love.

bought this with the blazer, on sale, and it's actually the cutest. I love how it immediately dress down a blazer, which can be seen as stuffy and corporate. I am not stuffy and corporate, so I always worry about blazers. the dickey is beyond cute, giving you that cool girl model-off-duty vibe. cannot wait to wear it post-quarantine!
