Anoki Cotton Blend Denim Dickey Jacket

I'm 4ft 10 in, weight 100/102 lbs. This is a lovely jacket that is well made and classy. I hesitated over returning it, because I like it so much, but the shoulder pads stick out too much. I love shoulder pads as they give me a shape. That's important as you age and lose height. But for my small frame, these may be a little too much.

This is such a cool jacket. It has a little stretch to make it comfortable to move in. The gold buttons aren’t over the top at all but add a uniqueness to the jacket. It’s casual with a hoodie dickie but dressed up at the same time. It nips in at the waist making it very flattering. It has a very sharp, significant shoulder. If that isn’t your thing, I’d pass on this one. There is a serious shoulder pad in there. The sleeves are long which is typical for me with VB jackets (5’4”). Unique piece if you are looking for a dressier denim jacket/blazer.

Very cute jacket and fits well. Except, the sleeves are long and the only way Nordstrom can alter them is just hem the sleeves to the first button. There is no space between button and sleeve. It does look a bit awkward but the jacket fits like a glove so decided to keep it. I do wish the matching jeans fit better. I really wanted a suit but don’t like how the jeans looked on me. Hoping Veronica Beard will come out with another Jean that matches jacket.
