The Aaliyah style jacket from Veronica Beard is one of my favorites and I have several in various colors and fabric. I love the shorter style without being too cropped and the ruched sleeves make it so much easier to wear in the office all day. The fit and style is perfect for me and the seersucker fabric is very lightweight for spring/summer and looks great with jeans or dress pants. I liked this jacket so much I bought it in the blue and white and the tan and white from another vendor because it wasn't available at Nordstrom. One note is this jacket does seem to run a little smaller than before. My other Aaliyah jackets are a size 6 and I had to size up to a size 8 in this new one. At first I thought maybe I had put on a few pounds but my other VB size 6 jackets still fit. Highly recommend this versatile jacket.

Relaxed but put-together look
I love this jacket. Very flattering cut, not too long or too short, and the ruched sleeves make it feel casual and easy-going. I wish Nordstrom Rack sold the dickeys that go with the jacket as well!
