Cordless AND effective!
This fantastic! CORDLESS?! May be the best feature! It’s a true therapy light for SAD not just bright light therapy. The flat, round surface area gives really even light over a larger area than most. Magnetic base is very strong and being able to rotate the light is such a great feature.

Disappointed
Got this as a gift. The design is super poor. The stand doesn’t charge it and instead the cable is awkwardly placed on the back of the device, making it annoying to charge and easily unplug. The battery lasts maybe 30 min when used appropriately. The buttons are easy to accidentally touch when holding the device. There’s no way to know battery level.
Overall, it’s a bad product and I would have returned if it wasn’t a gift.

Doesn't follow USB Spec for charging
Excited to have a wireless light that could be charged by USB type c, but even though this uses a type c port you have to use the verilux proprietary cord that can damage other devices if used with them. I was looking forward to not needing a dedicated proprietary charging cable when traveling.

This is sort of awkward? i was so psyched for a cordless unit I could move around. But it keeps turning off. I charged it 24 hrs.before use. I set the time as the directions say. And the charge cord is awkward to plug in and take out with the stand. I like the magnetic stand, but it’s awkward for me. Maybe the unit is too light? I guess I am getting old.
