Verbena Shower Gel Refill

This is my favorite shower gel, but the refill is not the same product as in the bottle. I have purchased a couple of refill bags and the consistency and scent is definitely subpar when you compare it to a bottled version. It's a shame since the refills are convenient. This really only happens with this product as I purchase refills the lavender hand wash and shea shower cream and both of those are fine.

I use to live in New Jersey from 88-05 . I use to have to travel alllll the way to Short Hills Mall just to stock up when prices back then where still expensive I would buy both your green tea vert shower gel n verbena the largest size bottle available n I'd hoard to get me through the short days n long winters the sky was grey both the green tea n verbena made me smile for the fragrance - I moved to Florida back in 05 n drove alllll the way to Millennia mall for my needs the price has gon up n I started to get sensitive to the ingredients n had to stop use as well as prices climbed up more to this day I've been not able to both use your products cuz the preservatives even at 95% what u call biodegradable ingredients! But u completely discontinued the green tea shower gel n green tea with mint perfume years ago why??? Bring them back !!!

If you compare the product in the bottle with that in the recharge bag, you will notice that the Recharge product is not the same. It does not smell as rich, it is not as golden in color and just seems watered down. If that is the case, it should be discontinued. The original in the bottle is great and worth the few extra dollars. Don't by the recharge product.

I have been buying these refills for years. I have used none other. But recently the soap appears to have been 'watered down'. The higher viscosity results in more soap than necessary being used. I typically refill the original dispenser when it is half empty. The difference in viscosity results in the new not mixing with the old. So the viscosity changes back as I reach mid-container, reminding me that it is not my imagination. I'm guessing this is a profit building exercise by L'Occitane, but they have lost this customer. Permanently.

I am obsessed with the Verbena product line. The cooling hand cream gel sits permanently on my desk, and I apply throughout the day. It smells amazing and is not greasy at all. I also use the shower gel and body lotion daily and can't say enough great things about the feel and consistent smell. Its so clean and refreshing! Next I will try to the foaming bath and hand soaps. I've never found a body and bath scent better than this. And I promise I wasn't paid for the review, I just truly love these products!!!
