What it is: A specially designed textured puff designed to perfectly pick up, hold and apply Loose Setting Powder (sold separately).
How to use: Saturate the puff with powder and remove excess by tapping the puff on your hand. Gently press onto your skin, using a rolling motion to work the powder into skin. To clean, wash with mild soap by hand or machine wash in a lingerie bag.

Way beyond my makeup skill level...
I bought this for use with Laura Mercier loose setting powder (as recommended by the brand). I read the instructions and have tried and tried....I can't figure out what makes this useful.

So luxe
This is definitely not a necessary purchase and I could only justify it as a treat - however, I just love using it. It feels so luxurious, applies the Laura Mercier translucent powder so gently and evenly and also washes really well, keeping its softness.
