great short
Purchased them for my daughter who has athletic thighs. They’re a little big at the waist but she said they’re super comfortable and they look fantastic on her. I bought her both the black and the snake skin design. Initially she resisted the design but fell in love upon receiving. Love them! For reference she’s typically a size 6/8 5’7 and we purchased her a medium

Nice shorts but sizing is off
These shorts run really LARGE. I bought a size XS and it fit like a size M so be sure to size down. Nice style and good quality but sizing is way off.

favorite shorts EVER
I was looking for a pair of high waisted shorts that I can use for both running and athleisure. These shorts are perfect for both, I absolutely love them!! They far exceeded my expectations. The material is so soft and flattering. The cut makes my legs & butt look amazing. My boyfriend kept commenting on how good they looked. I also love the waistline, it is elastic but not too tight and hits me comfortably at my belly button. I can't typically wear crop tops because of my mom bod, but these shorts pair perfectly with a cute crop tank or tee and don't make me look like I'm trying too hard and flatter my figure. I am 36 years old, 5'7" and 140lbs. I wish they had more colors because I want a thousand pair! I am so in love. I could live in these shorts.

Favorite athletic shorts!
These were my first pair of the Kallin running shorts and I am so happy with them. I did size up to a M, as I’m normally a S as I’m 27 weeks pregnant and haven’t been able to find an attractive pair of athletic shorts that fit my growing bump and these are perfection! The high and stretchy waistband can be worn at or below my bump and they actually make my butt look good like it looked in running shorts pre-pregnancy. So happy I can wear these post pregnancy as well! I’ll define ordering more colors.

cheap and flimsy
I am SO disappointed to give Varley a bad review. I have a very extensive collection of Varley pieces and there are my most worn and most loved. They are comfortable, stylish, and made with exceptional quality. These, however, are nothing like that. The fit is unflattering, the material feels cheap and paper thin on both the shorts and the lining, and the lining bunched as i was working out in them. Unfortunately I’ve already worn them, so i can’t return them. I thought them in a second color and those are definitely going back,
