Esmond Drawstring Shorts

These truly are the perfect shorts… I thought about buying them for months after seeing some influencers promoting them and finally pulled the trigger. Should have bought them at the beginning of summer! They’re the perfect length, so comfortable, and the subtle details make them look more elevated than your standard short. I’m a 10/12 and the L fits perfectly.

Buy these shorts and you will not regret it! They fit nice, don’t make the hips look big like some shorts with pockets, and actually make you look slim. The waist is not low, which looks better on my hourglass shape. Not sure if these have sweat wicking, but the material feels like active shorts, in which I think would be great for summer. I feel like could dress these up or down. The drawstring is also fab!

Nice length- not too short. Fabric/style is slightly elevated so you feel more put together. Comfortable waist band with a little stretch in the fabric. Nice, metal toggle drawstring. The quality of Varley is what draws me back to always repurchase items from this brand.

These are the best shorts I’ve bought in a long time. The elastic waist is very comfortable and I love the unique drawstring design - you push both sides of the toggle to adjust. It’s made with high quality material and it’s got a nice shape that makes you look slim. Can be dressed up or down, making it a versatile piece. I purchased in both black and taupe, and would definitely buy again in the future.

The details list these as a lightweight twill, but they aren’t “papery” and don’t stick to you when you are sweaty. Excellent cut and fabric, pockets in all the right places and placed so that you don’t have to hunt for them, unlike some shorts. The classy toggle is a nice touch. They are a good length on me, not too short or long and flattering, as well. Great short and worth the money.

My favorite purchase during this years Annv Sale! They were the last pair available in the store and so glad I snagged them before they sold out! Great fit and fabric and can be dressed up too.
