Valentina Eau de Parfum

I'm a very visual person; which at times can be a blessing and a curse-- Therefore I admit! I thought the bottle was stunning in the least. Yet, I had the opportunity to smell this perfume through a strip in a fashion magazine I received... Hands down this is by far an absolutely beautiful fragrance. Also one to suffer from delusions of grandeur, I believe this is exactly what 'The Fields of Heaven' must smell like!!! To say I'm pleased with this purchase would be an understatement...

I finally found a scent I love after trying different perfumes for months. This fragrance is wonderful- sultry, haunting, and delicious. I can't stop smelling my wrists, lol. I bought the body lotion also, which I put on at night before bed, but can also be layered under the perfume during the day. This will be my signature scent from now on.

I am very particular about perfumes and I have only worn the original Michael Kors for years and years and years. I get a lot of headaches from perfumes and also likely have allergies. Many perfumes don't suit me either. Valentina is one of my favorite new signature smells for myself and I recommend that anyone looking for something new - at least try this. Nordies goes without saying. The service is always superb, shipping of course awesome, return policy the best (if needed) and I have nothing but excelent feedback about purchasing from them. My store of choice. btw - trust me - get the big bottle of this stuff.

I rarely change or buy new fragrances. I've worn Chanel 5 and Body Shop White Musk for the past 25 years and find that most perfumes are too strong, make me sneeze or feel like a stinky flower. My husband developed a new allergy to Chanel 5 and I had to put it away. Enter Valentina. I smelled it in a magazine and was so intrigued I went ahead and ordered a bottle online. i LOVE it! It's fresh and light and comfortable. I now have all the bath products. The body cream is incredible and I can pair it with perfume and still am not too strong to go to a meeting. If only everyone were this careful with their fragrance!

I am a perfume addict. I have owned and smelled many fragrances since I started getting into beauty products when I was in high school and my Mom has even told me numerous times that my bathroom "looks like a department store." With that said, this is DEFINITELY one of my top ten, possibly even top five favorite fragrances ever! I got a sample of this with my Nordstrom order and now I MUST get it in full size! It is very sweet, feminine, and floral, but also very sexy and high-end. First Nordstrom got me into the first Jimmy Choo fragrance last year and now this! Haha.

Initially I had a hard time getting to know this perfume. When I first prayed it on my skin, it dried down to a sour mess (but I also had lightly scented body lotion on so this may have had something to do with it). I decided to give it another try with bare skin (no other competing scents or shower gels,) and was intrigued and enchanted by its aroma. At first, this opens as a powdery/floral scent on me and then dried down to a more earthy, spicy scent that very slightly lingered. I would occasionally catch a whiff of it, and it would elicit a feeling of sensuality and comfort at the same time. This scent to me feels sexy, sassy, adorable, and like "home." It somehow reminds of my childhood in France, and the scent of the beautiful ladies that would pa-rouse the shops while also making me feel comforted. The only down side for me was that it did not last long at all (maybe an hour or two,) which does not make it very cost effective for me, but I am still a fan of this scent. Other scents I love are Quelques Fleur by Houbigant (I always come back to this as there is no other like it,) See by Chloe, and Jo Malone Agave and Cacao. This perfume's scent falls somewhere in between the combination of these three for me. Definitely more complex than the average scent out there.
