Too narrow
I ordered a half size bigger, and they were still too narrow in the toe. Had to return, sadly. It’s a beautiful shoe. (Another half size Harper would have been sliding off my heel).

Beautiful and comfortable
I wear a size 9 1/2. I always order a size 40 in Valentino shoes (half size up). Perfect fit. These shoes are a head turner and also very wearable. I am going to order in the red color as well.
