V-Neck Stretch Cotton Sweater

Agreeing with the other reviewer in that this 'sweater' is super flimsy and therefore does not hold its shape...and that is BEFORE washing! Shades of purple are beautiful and as depicted. Also, it has dolman sleeves which just adds more width to the very wide and SHORT sweater. While I like a roomy sweater, this being both short in the body and sleeves just isn't attractive IMO. At 5'4" the XL hits at just the top of my jeans/pants and the sleeves hit at the high wrist. At least these sweaters won't shrink, but they will sag and stretch in a short time. What a shame...E.F. gross profit is fine, but not everything...you are alienating your loyal customers with inferior products/materials and poor construction.

Some fit notes on the 1x. The sleeves are shorter and land 1” before the wrist. The V neck is perfect depth and the length just right for a DD bust. Go a size up if bust is any larger. I layered it with the silk charmeuse tank. I have had no issues with mine piling, but have only worn twice. To not this sweater is light and fluffy. It does not get stuffy or overly hot. A winner!

I have worn this chenille sweater (the cardigan, in navy) twice and kept wondering what the small blackish dots were around my house and car. The chenille is constantly shedding even after a careful wash. I am a very big fan of EF mostly because I can wear items for many years since the cut and fabrics are classics. But sadly this appealing- looking (and feeling) item has a zero design/construction life and have to return it.
