A rear basket provides easy storage for groceries, backpacks or briefcases, while an integrated cup holder keeps your coffee or water bottle close at hand. Planes, Trains and URB-Es

I've had some pretty rough commuting experiences in the past - bumper to bumper traffic in LA, walking miles in NYC. But that is pretty much in the past with the URB-E! Small enough that I take it on the train and subway with me. Light enough to carry it up and down a flight of stairs (and I'm not a big dude). And fun enough to want to ride it everywhere in between! It was easy to learn to ride, way easier than a bicycle. You are low enough to the ground so that you can put your feet down if you need to, but you won't even need to do that after 5 minutes of riding. This version with the basket and the cup holder make it even more city friendly for those who need to get some errands done while caffeinating!

Too Cool for School

Ok, so I got the URB-E for my husband so he could use it on his commute to work --he takes the train and uses for that 'last mile' to his office. He loves it and much prefers taking the train+URBE over driving a car any day. BUT, one day I decided to take it to MY work (I'm a teacher) because I needed to supervise students who were working in two different locations across campus. It allowed me to zip from place to place like nothing, and --not that I care about these things so much--but I suddenly became the coolest teacher ever. Like ever. I did get a little off balance trying to carry some books in one arm and steer one-handed. So, I'd recommend the basket or a backpack if you need to carry something. Also, it balances better with feet on the back pegs, in my opinion. Other than that, it's pretty awesome. I think we need two, soon....

Amazing! Made in California

I love my URB-E and I love that it's made in the USA. I use my URB-E to commute from Downtown LA to Culver City everyday... and sometimes Santa Monica. It saves me a lot of time getting to the Metro and it folds up super fast. I don't sweat any more and I can get in an out of Whole Foods with my basket without looking for parking. The iPhone holder and cup holder make my mornings very enjoyable. And I love that I can charge my phone on the train with the battery. No more looking for parking or parking tickets. This is not a toy. The URB-E is high quality machine. You can tell that this thing is engineered and built to last. I love the design. People stop me all the time and ask me about it. This is way better than my bike for commuting because I can fit it easily in an uber or my wife's car when she picks me up sometimes. I highly recommend this product. I called their office to ask about some other accessories and their customer service person was awesome. I am probably going to have to buy another one soon because my wife is beginning to use it on the weekends.

The ultimate city ride!

I've used my URB-E mostly in DTLA to do bank/PO runs plus quick jaunts to Little Tokyo and Arts District for lunches, but I would've loved to have it when I worked in NYC. Those giant city blocks are serious business!

city necessity

love it. once i started using it, i forgot how i lived without it. it allows me to avoid LA traffic by taking the train to work. and, fixes the parking problem. i can park farther away and just take it in. awesome. almost feels unfair to others.
