The shoe is attractive and has the classic Vionic arch support that I need. However, I really don't like the tongue of the shoe at all. It is soft suede and curls when inserting foot in the shoe. Straightening it out once your foot is in the shoe is nearly impossible. Chose the Ivory color & after one wearing, the suede on the toe area is pretty dirty. I am not a hiker or sports person, so I was a little disappointed that the shoe grabbed as much dirt as it did after simply walking around on vacation for a few hours.

I recently purchased a pair of Vionic shoes in a beautiful subtle gold leather, and I couldn't be happier with them. From the moment I put them on, they felt incredibly comfortable. The leather is soft and flexible, the toe box is roomy, and the overall construction feels exceptionally solid and well-made. I've been wearing them for several days before an upcoming trip to Portugal and Spain, and honestly, they didn't need any break-in period at all. They were comfortable right out of the box and have only gotten better with wear. The arch and instep support are outstanding—so much so that I don't even need to wear my orthotics. As someone who has struggled with plantar fasciitis in the past, I know how important proper arch support can be. Many shoes leave my feet aching after a few hours, but that hasn't been the case with these Vionics. They provide excellent support while remaining comfortable enough for all-day wear. An added bonus is the versatile subtle gold color. They pair beautifully with slacks, skirts, shorts, and dresses, making them an ideal travel shoe when packing space is limited. Comfort, support, style, and quality construction—these shoes have it all. Five stars and highly recommended!
