Upton Wool Blend Car Coat with Removable Bib

It is a great coat. Very stylish and easy to wear. Ran a bit big so I had to order a size smaller, but overall it is a great buy.

This coat is very substantial but not bulky. It fits well and looks great. I would need to size-up if I were going to wear it over a blazer, but it fits nicely over a sweater. This was just what I was looking for in an up-grade to my winter wardrobe.

More elevated than a parka, more easy-wearing than a traditional length topcoat, the Upton car coat is a sleek, contemporary look that still delivers on warmth. The navy is a less predictable alternative to a peacoat. I decided on the tweedy grey for its versatility and textural interest.

I love the look of this coat. The sleeves are a bit too small, so if you want to wear a sweater on it, you might be uncomfortable.

The coat looks great on the model, as well as on models in the store. But, when I brought it home, it is too boxy in the lower half. Someone already said this in their review, and I should have listened. I am nearly 5'11" and weigh a little less than 160 pounds, bought a Medium, and it looks like the Carmelo Anthony Signing Coat from 2003. You can use that sizing for reference. Did not try the small, but the guy in the prior review said that if he went smaller the shoulders were too tight. Look at all the "lower star" reviews, and you will see that it's not that the people hate the color scheme or materials of the coat, it is the sizing ratio. Who knows.
