Upton Plain Toe Derby

These are super comfortable all day and have a great medium brown color that isn’t too red. They work well with jeans, chinos, and suits. After a few weeks, they seem as though they are durable and will last quite a while. Highly recommended.

Being in my 70's, I have worn many shoes from multiple brands over the years. I have found Johnson Murphy shoes to be the most comfortable, attractive and well-made shoe I have ever worn. The Upton Plain Toe is a perfect example of this fine craftsmanship. I get compliments from strangers every time I wear them! It is the perfect combination of classy casual and business dress casual. I recommend this shoe and this brand to everyone!

I love these shoes! So soft and comfortable, and as another reviewer said, like walking on clouds. These are now my go-to casual shoes during the fall through the spring. Beautiful color and fine styling, too. Good shoes are hard to find now, but I have a feeling J&M will supply all my needs.

I have several pairs Upton, Plain Toe and they all make the short list of favorites. I haven’t had any issues with soles delaminating nor any other problems. My favorites, I bought second pairs. I learned early that rotating my shoes and using cedar shoe trees extends the life of the shoe. Works for me. I have lots of shoes, and J&M’s are generally my favorites! I’d recommend them, particularly the Uptons, but loafers and others as well.. no problems with their construction!
