Details & care

This thoughtfully engineered infant car seat provides the ultimate in safety and comfort. An updated inlay optimizes infant body positioning for an even cozier ride.

Why parents will love it: The car seat can be installed in a matter of seconds with a SMARTSecure® system, auto-retracting LATCH design, bubble level indicators and red-to-green visual indicators. The merino wool fabric version is hypoallergenic, temperature-regulated and made of materials that are fire retardant–free to keep baby safe.

Why kids will love it: The infinitely adjustable headrest allows for a more accurate and customized fit as baby grows. Plus, the simple buckle position and no-rethread adjustable harness make buckling up a breeze.

Child weight/height: From birth to 12 months; suitable from 4–35 lb., or up to 32" in height, whichever comes first; included infant insert suitable from 4–11 lb.

Car seat weight/dimensions: 9.9 lb. seat; 12.6 lb. base; 17"W x 25.8"L x 23"H seat dimensions.

Safety features: The adjustable headrest is reinforced with EPP foam to help absorb energy, while the integrated Side Impact Protection system keeps baby’s head protected during a collision. The fourth antirebound carry-handle position allows for increased safety in rebound and rear-impact collisions. An adjustable load leg adds stability and increases overall safety. It also helps to limit forward rotation during a front collision, reducing the chance of a head or neck injury.

Harness: No-rethread, adjustable harness.

Car installation: SMARTSecure system, auto-retracting LATCH design, bubble level indicators and red-to-green visual indicators.

Stroller compatibility: Compatible with UPPAbaby's CRUZ and VISTA strollers; compatible with MINU and RIDGE strollers with adapters (not included).

Saved my daughter's life

We got in a terrible car crash and were T-boned on the side my daughter was on by a car going about 40 mph. My car spun out into the ditch and the door was smashed in. This car seat stayed secure and she was well-contained and stayed safe. It was also easy enough to get her out of as fast as possible to get to safety. I am so grateful she is alive and healthy. We will be getting a replacement. I know it does what it's supposed to!

NEVER AGAIN

WORST ONLINE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I had an issue with an item I picked up at my nearest Nordstrom and brought to their attention (online) and there was NOTHING they could’ve done. The item I had purchased was already out of stock but didn’t bother to help otherwise. The nice lady that helped me when I picked up my order was a sweetheart but my issue is the condition I received my item it was extremely sad to even see how bad the box was upon picking my order up. JUST HORRIBLE!

I would NOT recommend

Had the car seat from the time our baby was a newborn and he does not enjoy it at all. He screams and cries everything. I would not recommend to any parent. Our son is not colic. This seat is flat out uncomfortable for babies and will make every ride uncomfortable for parents because your child will not be able to sit in it. Waste of good money. Save yours.

Great car seat!

We recently upgraded to the UPPAbaby Mesa V2, and it has been a fantastic choice! The car seat base installation is super easy, making it quick and stress-free to secure in the car. Compared to our previous Chicco KeyFit, the Mesa V2 is larger and has a higher weight capacity, which means we'll be able to use it for longer. I also love the adjustable headrest, which provides extra comfort and support as our baby grows. Another huge perk is that it's compatible with UPPAbaby Vista strollers without needing an additional adapter—such a convenient feature! The large canopy is another big plus, especially since we love going on walks and appreciate the extra sun coverage. Overall, I highly recommend the UPPAbaby Mesa V2 to parents looking for a safe, well-designed, and easy-to-use infant car seat. Definitely worth it!

Both babies screamed in this car seat!

Both babies screamed in the car in this seat! We thought they just didn't like the car but as soon as we changed to a different car seat they were happy as could be.
