Shade Fauna
I love this lipstick and have a few shades, my current favourite being ‘Fauna’, a beautiful deep berry red! It glides on the lips so smoothly and leaves a strong colour. The formula is non drying, perfect in colder months. It can also be applied as more of a lip tint, if you don’t want a full flush of colour. The tube has lasted me ages!

Bleeds far too much
I received a sample of this with an order and loved the colour so ordered the lipstick. I really wish I hadn't, what a complete waste of money. It bleeds more than any other lipstick I have ever encountered. I've tried applying with a lip brush, using the matching lip liner etc, but nothing works, it looks awful very quickly. Sadly, I have binned.

Too pigmented for me
I received the Hourglass Unlocked Satin Creme Lipstick in Sahara Dusk in the Space NK Beauty Advent Calendar 2025, If I were scoring it only on its presentation I would give full marks, because the gold bullet is classy and would be a pleasure to have in a handbag. Sadly though the lipstick is way too bright and pigmented for my pale skin.

SHADE: SAHARA
Warm, brick brownish red shade that works well with my medium skin tone. This was included in the spaceNK Christmas advent. Gold packaging feels luxe, the formula is so comfortable to wear. Pigmented shade that lasts long, but still needs reapplication a few times during the day. A nice lipstick but there are so many cheaper alternatives.

Lovely but not last long
This lipstick has a beautiful, rich and deep colour that looks very elegant on the lips. The satin crème formula feels comfortable and gives a lovely, smooth finish. It applies easily and makes the lips look polished and well-defined.
Unfortunately, it transfers quite a lot and doesn’t have great staying power. It needs frequent reapplication, especially after eating or drinking. Despite this, it’s a great choice for a short wear or when you want a luxurious look for a few hours

Long lasting colour
I received this in the most recent advent calendar in Sahara dusk. The colour is a lovely deep shade that goes well with my skin tone. The colour has lasting power and it’s hydrating enough that it doesn’t dry out my lips throughout the day. Applies smoothly and the packaging is great.

Lovely colour and finish, doesnt stay
So I do love this lipstick and the colour and hydration is amazing. That being said, I found I was constantly topping it up, especially in the middle. I have found some others just have better staying power and this once clings to the edges and doesn't stay in the middle. I think if you need a nice lipstick for a moment its great but for a whole night you may struggle.
