Misa Tie Front Dress

I don't know what prompted me to order this dress but am so glad I did. Despite a lack of shape it is surprisingly flattering. I am 5'11" so it hits just above the knee. The fabric which is a good weight skims the body and allows waist definition depending on how tight you tight the fake sleeves. It fills a void for a fun and casual outfit in my closet.

I'll admit that when I saw this dress online, it seemed a bit goofy. But, it's very comfortable and casual cool, and because of the waist tie, really flattering. I bought it in black and have been wearing it with bright colored tights and black knee high boots. I'd also happily style it with sneakers. My only nit is that I wish that the fabric in the tie tapered into more of a belt, and less like I have another sweatshirt wrapped around me, but I could always take it to the tailor and ask them to do that for me.
